Visit the beautiful Langtang National Park and then trek to the end of the valley to view the wonderful mountain views. Following the Trisuli River north out of Kathmandu, we travel through Trisuli Bazaar and Dhunche to Syabrubensi, a Sherpa village located at the very edge of the Langtang National Park. We then swing east into the Langtang Valley, crossing the river several times as we travel up along a gorge-like, lower section of the valley. We pass through oak and rhododendron forests and even cross a glacial moraine on our way to the Tamang village of Langtang.

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel, here you will be formally introduced to your Guide and the activities to be enjoyed over the next few days. We will also ask for your passport photographs and any other details required for your trek permits, at this stage.
Travelling through Trishuli (Nuwakot) today the journey length will depend on the season and the number of landslides caused by heavy rains. On a good day it will take you 6 hours. The views on the way are very pretty.
After crossing the suspension bridge the trek proceeds through the trees where langur monkey’s frolic and takes you to Doman (1680m). The trail then makes a steep climb over a rocky ridge to Paira Lodge (1810m) and further the route climbs gently to Bamboo Lodge (1960m). Climbing steeply the trail will get to Rimche (2400m) and then to Lama Hotel. O/N in Lama Hotel.
There is a monastery that we can visit shortly before arriving at the village of Langtang, the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. The houses of Langtang and its neighboring villages are of the flat-roofed Tibetan style, surrounded by stone walls enclosing fields of buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips, and barley.
The trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin (3870m.) takes about three hours. The trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures as the valley. opens out further and the views become more extensive. It is a dramatic setting, with snow-covered peaks surrounding us in all directions. At this point, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Dorje Lakpa (6966m.), Langtang Ri (6596m.), and Langtang Lirung (7227m.).
On a rest day at Kyangjin Gompa we will have excursions in and around the village to explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung, or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4773m), directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.
The trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel takes about six hours. From Kyangjin you retrace your route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela.
The upper part of the trail is more beautiful due to the stunning panoramic views of mountains and green hillsides. This path is broader and remains sunny through the different Sherpa and Tamang villages. A Chilime Power Plant project was run here. The main residents belong to the Tamang culture and they have adopted a Tibetan lifestyle.
Path goes up hill steep with starting ridge after Pholung Dada it turn to left views with Dhunche and Trishuli valley. Easy path arrives Shiggompa where is cheese factory and half climb to Gosainkunda Pilgrim.
We follow a rugged trail with dramatic views; to the west Himal Chuli (7893m), Manaslu (8156m,) and Ganesh Himal (7406m). On a clear day even the Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the north across the valley is Langtang Lirung. Best view from Lauribinayak and just behind the Hotel at Gosainkunda.We pass a few huts in the high pasture of Lauribinayak, cross a small ridge and have our first views of the holy lakes. There are about a dozen lakes in the Gosainkunda Basin, the main three being Saraswatikund, Bhairab Kunda and Gosainkunda. According to legend, Shiva created Gosainkunda when he pierced a
glacier with his trident to obtain water to quench his thirst after having swallowed a poison that threatened to destroy the world.
Today is the final day of the trekking so we have around 6 hrs walking down to the Dhunche which is the District headquarter of Rasuwa.this
from Dhunche to Kathmandu it takes7 hrs.driving.after back Kathmandu where you will be taken to your hotel. This evening you have a farewell dinner, you will be picked up in good time.
