Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital city of the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal.You will be met on airport and transferred to your hotel. After the arrival, the group will be formally introduced to Guide for the activities over the next few days. One should pay attention in particular to the safety aspects of the briefing. After flying to Tumlingtar flight & continue the trek to Khandbari. it takes 3 hrs to be on Khandbari which is the district headquarter of Sankhuwasabha. we stay first night of the trek here.Khand bari is the district headquarter of Sunkhuwasava District.
We walk north from Khandbari. The trail crosses a plateau for about 45 minutes, and then gradually climbs for about 3 hours. We have lunch in Deurali, look around, then hike for one & half hour to Chilchila.This place is on the rich of the hill.from here can have able to see the view of mountains,forest with include local settlements .
We start the day with wonderful views of Makalu and the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The path is an ancient trade route, and after a few ups and downs it descends through a forest to Num. Num is last and big local settlement from this area which is popular as a center to buying dally use things like food, clothes and more needed things.
After breakfast We descend steeply for 1 and half hours to the level of Arun river then we cross the suspension bridge across the Arun River. From there it is a 2 hour ascent to Kerabari. We then continue upwards for another 2 hours to Siduwa .Siduwa is the village where had get Makalu Barun National park police check point.
Ascending through a forest we pass the picturesque Sherpa village of Tashigoan, the last village en route to the base camp. Mainly peoples grow the potatoes,millet, barley and more.now days this areas peoples are growing cardamon as a business.
After breakfast we climb out of the forest to the grazing area of Khongma, 5 1/2 hours away. We have a packed lunch because of the lack of water between Tashigoan and Khongma we cannot stop for lunch like other days. It had get only two small kettle. This place do not had get any water source so we have walk down half hours for water.
Above Kongnpma we occasionally walk on the snow (depending on the season) to Kongma-La (3870m) from here we can see the view of Makalu(8463m), Kanachanjungha (8586m) and the many more surrounding Himalya is spectacular from here. today We have to cross 4 Passes which Kongma-La 3870m,KK-La (4127m),Saptang-La( 4220m),Tutu-La (4170m).Around the Saptang-La pass it had get three lake as well . one of the lake which is secret lake for Hindu and Buddish religion.It is called Thulo pokhari. then we reach to Dobato.
After breakfast We get an early start with downhill and cross some land slides. Today we mostly follow bank of the Barun River until our stop.the way through between high hills as well as high mountains. Yengle Kharka is the famous for sprite (Yarsha Gomba) It takes 5 hours to the higher river plains in Yangle Kharka .
Today is short day so we can start bit let then other days.It takes 3 hrs to our camp side,The trail goes inside the pine forest as well as Rhododendron. Armington says this site “is far better camping here would conform to the recommendations for safe acclimatization to altitude”.
Today is our rest day so you can weak up bit let then after breakfast you can explore around the camp side.from here you see Shiva cave Parbati Danda in another side of the river & also can see the peak 7 including the other mountains view.
Today that you have to get up early, around 5 AM for sun rise view, to climb the ridge behind Shersong. From Shersong we can see wonderful view of Mt. Makalu then our way is enter in the Makalu glacier which is beautiful marine. We will then descend and cross a small glacier before reaching base camp.
Today is the most impotent day of this trek so you can enjoy the view of mountains with taking beautiful pictures.The view point is nearly 6000m so from here you see the closest view of Mt Makalu (8463m)Pek 7,peak 5,Sherpini cole,Lohtse shar(8382m),Baruntse (7152m) & more mountains view then walk down to Yangle Kharka for overnight.
